Issue #1: Closely inspect the Powertrain Wiring harness located near the transaxle solenoid pack. The harness may have been moved during previous service actions. A misrouted harness could make contact in this area and induce fault codes. Replacement of the Alternator without properly repairing the harness, will not correct these fault codes. To properly position the Powertrian Wiring harness after inspection/repair, reference Service Bulletin 08-014-03 for procedure and use Wiring Bracket package part number 05101812AA. Issue #2: Decoupler Pulley 04861506AG is available for pulley related repairs. It's no longer necessary to replace the entire alternator assembly for pulley related repairs. LOP 08-05-02-01.
