If you are diagnosing a center bezel rattling noise, the replacement of the Bezel assembly is not recommended. The noise is resonating from the base of the bezel at the hooks and causing the vents to rattle. If the noise can be duplicated, pushing on the base of the bezel should turn the noise on/off. To correct the issue, first check to ensure the felt tape is present on the exterior base of the both sides of the bezel (gap between the bezel & console). If the exterior felt tape exists, then pull the bezel and apply felt tape (PN 05019057AA / 05019056AA or equivalent) to the latch hook area (below the HVAC knobs) on the IP substrate. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE REMOVAL & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LISTED IN DEALERCONNECT, the sequence of steps must be followed, if not it could result in damaging the small latch hooks at the TOP of the BEZEL If the vents are broken/loose, replace only the vents (pn's 1GG06DX9AA without chrome knob, pn 1GG051ZAAA with chrome knob). The service parts are now available. Replacement of the Center Bezel for a bezel rattling noise may result in a chargeback.
