Before replacing a power seat track assembly, make sure the problem is not with the seat control module. Verify by performing the following checks: 1. Turn ignition ON. 2. Use DRB to interrogate the Seat Module 3. If the DRB indicates no module, then check power and ground at the module. If power/ground are good, then replace the Seat Module. 4. If the DRB does detect the module, then attempt to move the seats using the switches. 5. If the seats will not move using the switches, then check for DTCs in the Driver Door Module (for driver seat) or Passenger Door Module (for passenger seat). 6. If the Driver/Passenger Door Module has faults for MSM Messages Not Received or MSM Message Response Fault, then replace the Seat Module. ______________________________________ Contact Us at CAGRIS@Chrysler.com for feedback related ONLY to this GPOP Tech Tip.
