After installing the new DVD, return the old DVD per the shipping instructions. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Failure to return the correct part number (failed DVD) will result in a charge to your parts account for the DVD. Failure to return the failed DVD will also result in a $500.00 core charge to your parts account. There is a royalty fee for the map database associated with each DVD part number. Replacing the DVD part number for part number, does NOT result in a royalty fee. Changing the part number of the replacement DVD to a different part number requires the payment of another royalty fee to the supplier. These fees in the form of a standard part number billing are NOT warrantable. If the customer desires the latest version, the non-exchange part number should be ordered through the regular parts ordering process.
