Prior to replacing the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) please verify the following...If the rear PDC diode A33 is installed backwards (reverse polarity) the fuse(s) (Position #5 & #30 located in the rear PDC) for circuit A33 will open causing the SCCM to not operate. The SCCM will not function until the diode is installed correctly and the fuses are replaced. The Steering Angle Sensor (if so equipped) will require re-initilaization, and all faults should be cleared with the StarScan or MDT2.
