Prior to ordering this part to resolve an inoperable Passive Entry function matching the following criteria, this diagnostic procedure needs to be performed. 1) Door will not unlock when grabbing the front driver door handle and not lock when pressing outside door handle lock button, 2) door lock and unlock feature functions using a FOBIK, and 3) fault code B25AA-01 and/or B25A9-01 are active. If all three of these conditions are met, then follow this procedure to prevent the DTC from resetting. 1) Run "Diagnose Door Handle" routine. 2) Check for either fault code. 3) If fault code went to stored, then clear DTC and return to customer. 4) If a DTC is still active, then proceed with routine diagnostic procedure in service manual. Note, the fault code(s) will continue to set indicating a false component failure, unless the Diagnose Door Handle routine is performed. ______________________________________ Contact Us at CAGRIS@Chrysler.com for feedback related ONLY to this GPOP Tech Tip.
